AFEB, Association of manufacturers of hardware and DIY, and ADFB, Association of distributors of hardware and DIY, they have joined forces to organize the 2nd Edition of the technical sessions, Challenges of DIY, with EUROBRICO as main Partner.
It is the first time that both associations come together to launch a project in common, as is been doing in Europe for some years. Both entities want to obtain synergies when it comes to an attractive and interesting program, be a true day of work and networking for the sector.
The Conference will take place in Madrid the 31 March of 2016. You will have the same structure as the 1st Edition. Three blocks, three "pills", that provide a quick overview of the themes of trend and hot in the day of our sector of DIY and home improvement. The end of each block is to create a further discussion between manufacturers and distributors who can help us to improve the market and the way of working.
In this edition the 3 thematic focus on logistics, Technology and actions with clients.
The success of the last edition, sponsored by Oracle and Azkar Dachser Group, and with the collaboration and support of the international trade fair for DIY, EUROBRICO, was reflected in the attendance of 160 professionals in the sector. In this edition dealt with topics of logistics, e-commerce and online marketing.
ADFB is the only entity representing the DIY distribution at the national level with more of the 90% the market between its members share (ATB, Aki DIY, Bricoking, Bricor (El Corte Inglés) and Leroy Merlin). AFEB, the DIY and hardware manufacturers association was founded in the year 2004 intended to promote companies in the market of DIY and hardware in permanent collaboration with all the partners of the distribution. Since the year 2014 AFEB encompasses companies in Spain and Portugal. Currently with 79 associated companies, representing a volume of business of more of 2.000 million Euros.
